Tim Hill to Royals' 40-man roster; 4 Comets now in Majors

KANSAS CITY (11-21-2017) -- The Kansas City Royals have added former Palomar pitcher Tim Hill to their 40-man Major League roster.

The 6-foot-4 left-hander, who recorded a save in big-league spring training last March against Milwaukee, has struck out 184 batters and walked 61 in three seasons in the Minor Leagues after being drafted in the 32nd round and signed out of Bacone College in Muskugee, Oklahoma in 2014. He compiled a 10-2 record as a senior at Bacone, pitched the Warriors into the NAIA National Tournament and was an NAIA honorable mention All-American selection.
