Jonathan Villarreal - Monterey Peninsula

Monterey Peninsula College outfielder Jonathan Villarreal has been named the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Player of the Week for the week of February 10th–February 16th, it was announced on Tuesday.

Villarreal, a sophomore from Pacific Grove, CA was 8-13 (.615), with 3 2Bs, 3BB, 2 runs, 1SB and 5RBI for the week helping lead MPC to a 4-0 record for the week.

Jonathan is the first Lobo to earn CCCBCA Player of the Week honors. 

 

 

Thomas Peterson - American River

American River College RHP Thomas Peterson has been named the the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of February 10th –February 16th, it was announced on Tuesday.

Peterson threw 8 shutout innings, scattering 7 hits while striking out 5 against #5 Feather River College. Thomas is a sophomore from De La Salle High School. He threw just 94 pitches through eight innings

Peterson is the first Beaver to earn CCCBCA Pitcher of the Week honors.
