Malik Bond – Mendocino College, Centerfielder
Mendocino College centerfielder and lead-off hitter Malik Bond started his sophomore season off with a bang, hitting a homerun in his first at-bat of 2019. He continued to stay hot as he helped Mendocino take two out of three games against College of the Redwoods on the road in Eureka on Friday and Saturday. When the weekend was finished, Bond ended up 8 for 14 (.571) including 3 homeruns, 1 double and 1 triple to go along with 7 RBI’s and 5 runs scored.
