JAYLUND JOHNSON - DELTA COLLEGE
Jaylund Johnson, a sophomore from san Joaquin Delta College is the BIG 8 Conference Player of the Week for his efforts that included leading Delta to three wins. Johnson led the way for the Mustangs with 5 hits, 9 RBI, and scored 4 runs. He hit a grand slam on Saturday. Jaylund currently leads the state in RBI with 23. He is a sophomore from Capital Christian High School in Sacramento.

Ryan Platero - Monterey Peninsula College
Ryan pitched a complete game in the 5-1 win Feb. 22 at Fresno CC. Platero went 9 innings, giving up 6 hits, 1 run, 7 strikeouts, and 0 walks.
