Nor Cal Players of the Week 5/25-5/27

Player: Braeden Schnabel- San Joaquin Delta- Hits 7/16= .438, 4 R, 1 2B, 2 HR, 9 RBI, 14 TB, .875 SLG%, 2 BB, 1 HP, .500 OBP, 1 SF

The freshman outfielder from San Joaquin Delta, Braeden Schnabel, had a big weekend down at the 3C2A Baseball Championships. He left the yard twice and drove in nine runs in the four games. Schnabel collected seven hits, totaling 14 bases, added two walks, and a hit by pitch. He amassed an impressive 1.375 OPS on the biggest stage to win the final Norcal Player of the Week award.

 

Pitcher:  Lincoln Juarez- West Valley- 2 APP, 1 W, 4.1 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 3 K's, .250 BAA, 2.08 ERA

Lincoln Juarez, the sophomore reliever from West Valley, made two appearances in the 3C2A Baseball championships. On Saturday, he came out of the bullpen to throw 2.1 innings, allowing one run to earn the victory against Santa Ana 8-6. On Sunday, he threw the final two innings against Delta and did not allow a run while striking out two.
