Andre Davis - Chabot

Chabot College player Andre Davis has been named the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Player of the Week for the week of March 11^th –March 17^th, it was announced on Tuesday.

The 6’5 215 lb outfielder from Redwood Christian was 11-13 (.846), with 3 2B’s, 1 3B, 1 HR, 3 runs and had 11 RBI.  Davis also hit for the cycle against CCCSF on March 14^th.

Andre is the first Gladiator to earn CCCBCA Player of the Week honors. 

Peter Nyznyk - Los Medanos

Los Medanos College LHP Peter Nyznyk has been named the the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 11^th –March 17^th, it was announced on Tuesday.

Peter turned in a complete game, three hit victory on Thursday for Los Medanos. The Sophomore Lefty from De La Salle HS only need 96 pitches to complete the outing, while striking out six and allowing just two batters to get to scoring position the entire game. This was the second in a row Nyznyk has pitched a complete game victory for LMC.
