Chris Hopballe - Taft

Taft College first-base man Chris Hopballe has been named the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Player of the Week for the week of February 3rd–February 9th, it was announced on Tuesday

Hopballe, a freshman from Las Vegas, NV attended Palo Verde HS. For the week, he went 6 for 13 (.462) with 1 2B, 1 HR, 3 RBI, and 3 runs scored helping his team to a 2-1 week.

Chris is the first Cougar to earn CCCBCA Player of the Week honors. 

 

McKay McNair - Reedley 

Reedley College RHP McKay McNair has been named the the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of February 3rd –February 9th, it was announced on Tuesday.

McNair, a 6’2 200lb freshman from Clovis High School in Fresno threw 8 innings against #9 Marin only giving up 3 hits, while fanning eleven.

McKay is the first Tiger to earn CCCBCA Pitcher of the Week honors.
