Braxton Phillips - Butte

Butte College player Braxton Phillips has been named the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Player of the Week for the week of February 24th–March 2nd, it was announced on Tuesday.

Phillips, a 6’3 195lb sophomore outfielder from Roseville, CA helped lead the Roadrunners to a 2-0 week. He was 6 for 10 (.600), 4 runs scored, 1 HR, 1 2B and had 7 RBI.

“BP” is the first Roadrunner to earn CCCBCA Player of the Week honors. 

 

 

 

 

 

James Brager - Fresno

Fresno City College RHP James Brager has been named the the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of February 24th –March 2nd, it was announced on Tuesday.

Brager, a sophomore from Madera CA, threw in two games this past week recording a win and a save. The total line for the week was 5.2 innings pitched allowing 3 hits, 2 BB’s, 5 k’s and not giving up a single run. He is now 2-0 with three saves on the season and an ERA of 0.00.

James is the first Ram to earn CCCBCA Pitcher of the Week honors.
