Matt Jacobson - Los Medanos

Los Medanos College outfielder Matt Jacobson has been named the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Player of the Week for the week of February 17^th–February 23^rd, it was announced on Tuesday.

Jacobson had a huge week for LMC. At the plate he was 9 for 17 (.529) with 6 runs scored. In the four wins for the Mustangs he also drove in 2 runs, walked twice and had 8 stolen bases.

Matt is the first Mustang to earn CCCBCA Player of the Week honors.

Sean Bennetts - Delta

Delta College RHP Sean Bennetts has been named the the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of February 17^th –February 23^rd, it was announced on Tuesday.

Bennetts, a sophomore from Lincoln HS in Stockton CA, threw a complete game, 2 hit shutout vs Cabrillo. He only had 1BB fanning four. He is now 2-0 on the year with a 0.60 ERA.

Sean is the first Mustang to earn CCCBCA Pitcher of the Week honors.
