Brett Bloomfield - Cosumnes River College

Cosumnes River College infielder Brett Bloomfield has been named the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Player of the Week for the week of February 8^th –February 14^th, it was announced on Tuesday.

In a week in which he played against Chabot, Mission, Merced and Lassen Colleges, Brett went 11 for 16 with 2 home runs, 3 doubles, 4 walks, and 9 Rbi’s.

Bloomfield is the first Hawk to earn CCCBCA Player of the Week honors this season.

Andrew Wiesenfarth - American River College

Andrew Wiesenfarth- freshman left-hander threw 8 innings at Hartnell, allowing just 2 hits while striking out 5.  He allowed 2 unearned runs in the outing, just his third career start.
