Pat Doyle Inducted into the American Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame

Pat Doyle has traveled more than a million miles to spread the joy of baseball, and he’d gladly trek a million more just to see a youngster smile the first time he picks up a bat or tries on a glove.

He long has thought of the game as a tool of goodwill. It’s a philosophy he developed as a child in West Los Angeles watching his father help run the local Little League, and it has led him to a successful career coaching at San Joaquin Delta College and internationally, and working for Major League Baseball and other organizations to develop the sport.
