Thomas Delgadillo

Last week in the Cypress series, Thomas Delgadillo had an outstanding week.

Thomas was 8 for 15 with 4 runs scored and 5 RBI’s including a bases clearing double in game 3 of the series.  He also had a stolen base as well as made an outstanding catch against the left field wall to take away a Cypress scoring opportunity.

Ryan Semon

The Southern Valifornia Pitcher of the Week is Palomar College Freshman LHP Ryan Semon.  Semon threw 4 innings of relief vs Grossmont College allowing just 2 hits over 4 innings while striking out 3 earning his 9th win of the season.  Semon is currently 9-0 with 1 save on the season posting a 1.24 era in 49 innings of work.

Besides not allowing a baserunner in his 3 perfect innings, the freshman left-hander struck out the last five consecutive batters of the game.

He now has a scoreless inning streak of 16 2/3rd innings.
