Lucas Sakay had seven hits in 12 At Bats last week in Glendale's three wins over Antelope Valley College last week.
In the 4-3 win over AV Tuesday April 10, Sakay brought home the winning run with a suicide squeeze bunt and had three hits including an RBI single to give the Vaqs a 1-0 lead.
He currently has a five game hitting streak and helped Glendale score 40 runs in three wins over AV last week include a three run homer in the 17-0 win on April 14 as part of his seven RBI last week and five runs scored.
Sakay's .303 overall batting average has helped Glendale lead the WSC East by three games with five regular season games left to play at 14-1 and is 25-10 overall.
