Noah BarbaThe Warriors centerfielder helped lead No. 1 El Camino College to a three-game sweep over No. 18 L.A. Mission. Barba batted .583 (7-for-12) with a pair of homers in the series to go along with 10 RBIs and five runs scored. He slugged 1.083 and had a .643 on-base percentage for the Warriors. In game one, Barba went 3-for-5 with four RBIs, hitting a two-run shot in the second inning to put the Warriors on top 2-0. In game two of the series, Barba posted another three-hit game and drove in six runs as the Warriors scored a 20-0 win on the road against the Eagles. |
Troy BethelFreshman Troy Bethel is SoCal pitcher of the week. Last week Troy struck out twelve batters vs. Moorpark in a non-conference game. This was his longest outing of the year throwing eight shut out innings and only giving up three hits, while walking two in a 1-0 victory. Troy is 2-2 this season with a 3.25 ERA for the Rustlers. |
