Head Coach Dino Nomicos enters his 19th season at the helm of the Trojan baseball program.  In his tenure, Coach Nomicos has changed the face of Skyline baseball forever.  Coach Nomicos led the Trojans to their first Coast Conference Championship (2004) since 1979, five second place finishes (2017, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2002), and eight state playoff berths (2004 Super Regional, 2006 Regional, 2007 Regional, 2008 Regional, 2009 Regional, 2010 Regional, 2015 Regional, 2017 Regional).  Overall, Coach Nomicos has accumulated a record of 398-335 (.551 winning percentage), making him the all-time winningest baseball coach in school history and second in wins all-time at Skyline College Athletics.  In 2014, Coach Nomicos was named Victory Coach of the Year for the State of California.  Additionally, Coach Nomicos has twice been named Coast Conference Coach of the Year in 2004 and 2007.

Throughout his 19 seasons at Skyline, Coach Nomicos has produced 18 All-Americans, 12  All-Northern California, 122 players have been named to the All-Conference, with four players earning Gold-Glove Honors.  Professional baseball has benefited from Coach Nomicos’ tenure at the helm of Trojan baseball as well.  Over 30 different players have signed professional contracts under Coach Nomicos’ guidance

In the classroom the baseball program has benefited from the guidance of Coach Nomicos as well.  On campus, Coach Nomicos serves as an academic advisor for all student-athletes.  Coach Nomicos has graduated 95% of his student athletes to four-year universities, with 80% of them receiving baseball scholarships to top universities throughout the country.  A total of 173 players have transferred on scholarship to the four-year collegiate level.  Coach Nomicos enters his 35 year of coaching at the Collegiate level. 19 years as a Head Coach at Skyline, 16 years as an assistant, (6 years at the University of San Francisco, 7 years at Canada College, 3 years at Skyline)
