NORCAL Players of the Week!

Ben Shae - Marin College

Marin College player Ben Shae has been named the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Player of the Week for the week of March 24^th–March 30^th, it was announced on Tuesday.

Shae a sophomore outfielder helped the Mariners sweep #18 Los Medanos as he went 7 for 11 with 2 2B’s a HR, 5 RBI, and 2 stolen bases. Shae has an eight game hitting streak and is currently batting .388.

Ben is the first Mariner to earn CCCBCA Player of the Week honors.

Keone Cabinian - San Mateo College

College of San Mateo pitcher Keone Cabinian has been named the the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 24^th –March 30^th, it was announced on Tuesday.

Keone pitched a complete game shutout vs West Valley in a 3-0 win. He had 9 strikeouts with only 1 walk and giving up 5 hits. Keone is 2-1 on the year with 26 strikeouts in 27 innings to go along with a 1.33 ERA.

Cabinian is the first Bulldog to earn CCCBCA Player of the Week honors.
