It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Matt North. Matt was the pitching coach for Solano College this season. He was 25. He grew up in Solano County and played his Freshman and Sophomore year at Will C. Wood and played his last 2 years at Deer Valley. He was drafted out of high school in 2006, by the Cardinals in the 9th round. The Solano College Baseball players and staff along with all of us associated with California Community College Baseball send our thoughts and prayers to his friends and family. He was a great person and he will be greatly missed.
