Nor Cal Players of the Week – Week 9 March 18-24

Player: Connor Ross- Solano- Hits 11/13= .846, 8 R, 3 2B, 3 3B, 15 RBI, 20 TB, 1.538 SLG %, 1 HP, .800 OBP, 1 SF

The Sophomore third baseman from Solano College was on fire all week. He collected four hits in two games and three hits in the third game. He collected 20 total bases, thanks to three doubles and three triples on the week. Ross drove in 15 runs on the week and scored eight, to account for 23 runs on the week. This is his first Nor Cal Player of the Week award of the year.

Pitcher: Jayden Harper- Ohlone- 1 APP, 1 GS, 1 W, 7 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 4 BB, 13 K's, .160 BAA, 1.29 ERA

The Sophomore left hander from Ohlone was in complete command in his start this week. Harper went seven strong innings and earned the victory against Cabrillo. He spread four hits and four walks and only allowed one run. He struck out 13 hitters and held the opponent to a .160 batting average against. This is his first Nor Cal Pitcher of the Week award of the year.
