Max Ross, the freshman from Canada, filled up the box scores this week. He went six for eight in three games, while drawing three walks and two hit by pitches. He added two home runs on the week while driving in six. He stole six bases on the week to add to his stellar week at the plate. This is his first Nor Cal player of the week honor of the year.

Pitcher: Chase Christenson- Cosumnes River- 1 APP, 1 GS, 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K's, .115 BAA

Chase Christenson, the freshman two way from Cosumnes River, is this weeks Nor Cal pitcher of the week.  Christenson went seven shutout innings against Napa Valley on Saturday. He allowed just three hits and 1 walk while striking out six. He left the game with his team up 4-0. On top of his outstanding work on the mound, he went 5 for 16 with three doubles at the plate. This is his first Nor Cal pitcher of the week award.
