Pitcher of The Week:
Jordon Smith - Modesto College
The BIG 8 Conference has announced that Jordan Smith has been named the final conference Pitcher of the Week for the 2023 season. The sophomore left-hander from Ukiah, CA threw 6 innings of relief on Saturday to help the Pirates defeat Cosumnes River College in a game that had playoff seeding ramifications. Smith allowed just one run on two hits while striking out 4 and walking none. It was Smith's first Pitcher of the Week award.

Matthew Leiterman- Ohlone College
Matthew Leiterman finished the week 10-17 (.588) with 5 doubles and a homerun. Leiterman scored 8 times, knocked in 3, walked 4 times and struck out just once. His on-base percentage finished at .667 and slugging percentage at 1.059 for the week.
