PITCHER OF THE WEEK:
JACOB GUARDADO - PASADENA CITY COLLEGE, SOUTH COAST CONFERENCE
7.1 Innings, 6-hits, 8-Ks, "Win"
 
Pasadena City College pitcher/rightfielder Jakob Guardado batted .333 with a home run, eight RBI, and four walks in three games. He pitched a 7.1 inning, 6-hitter with 8 strikeouts for a win in the Lancers 3-game sweep of LA Harbor. Guardado is the son of former MLB All-Star closer Eddie Guardado of Minnesota Twins fame. 
 
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
JACK SALMON - GOLDENWEST COLLEGE, ORANGE EMPIRE
Jack Salmon- Freshman Outfielder 
6/13, 3 HR, 1 triple, 1 double, 1 BB, 4 runs, 8 RBI's and a stolen base.
 
Salmon did most of his damage on Saturday in the rubber match against #4 ranked Orange Coast College. In that game he went 4-5 with 2 HR, 1 triple, a double and 7 RBI's. The 2-RBI double came in the bottom of the 8th inning and gave the Rustlers a 14-13 lead, that they were able to hold onto in the top of the 9th to secure the series win over OCC.
