The BIG 8 Conference has named Folsom Lake College freshman RHP Gavin Ochoa as its Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 12th. The lanky righty went 7 innings on Thursday against American River College allowing just an unearned run on 6 hits while striking out 5 and walking one.

Mykanthony Valdez finished the week batting .750 (9-12) with 6 runs scored and 9 RBI. Valdez had 3 doubles, 2 homeruns, 2 walks, and 2 stolen bases to help lead Ohlone to three consecutive wins.
