The sophomore catcher from Monterey went 8-for-13 (.615) with 2 doubles and 5 RBIs in 3 games. He has a 15-game hitting streak for the fourth-ranked Vaqueros (25-8) and took over the WSC North batting lead at .389.

Dillon Persigner - Golden West CollegeThe CCCBCA is proud to announce Dillon Persinger as the Southern California Player of the Week for the week ending April 18th. Dillon was 8 for 12 for an Avg. of .750 with 6 RBI’s, 2doubles, 1 triple, 3 walks and 1 run scored last week. In doing so Dillon helped the Rustlers complete sweeps of both Orange Coast and Santa Ana also keeping Golden Wests 8 game OEC Conference winning streak alive with two regular season games remaining. Persinger is batting .344 on the season and .329 in OEC play.
