Mason Telander - Lassen College

Lassen College outfielder Mason Telander has been named the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Player of the Week for the week of March 23^rd –March 29^th, it was announced on Tuesday.

Telander had an outstanding weekend in helping the Lassen College Cougars win 2 out 3 games at Home against College of the Redwoods. His stats for this weekend’s conference series were: AB-13  H-10  BB-1  2B-1  R-6  RBI-3  SB-2  SAC-1

Mason had back to back 4 for 4 games to start the series. Mason is our Two-Hole hitter and starting LF. He is a freshman from Colorado Springs, Colorado

Mason is the first Cougar to earn CCCBCA Player of the Week honors

Jaramy Jacobs - Ohlone College

Ohlone  College LHP Jaramy Jacobs has been named the the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 23rd–March 29^th, it was announced on Tuesday.

Jaramy Jacobs led Ohlone College to a 2-0 victory on the road over 15^th ranked Canada as he tossed a 119-pitch, complete game shutout.  The 6’2” left-hander completed the game with a no-hitter; after the game, however, an error was changed to a hit.  Nevertheless, the 1-hit gem also included 10 strikeouts, including the last out of the game with the tying run on 1^st base.  Jacob’s win on Thursday was his 10^th in his two seasons at OC.

Jacobs is the first Renegade player to earn CCCBCA Pitcher of the Week honors.
