Tano Garza - Mendocino College

Mendocino College outfielder Tano Garza has been named the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Player of the Week for the week of February 23rd –March 1st, it was announced on Tuesday.

Tano Garza, a freshmen out of Santa Rosa had a big week as he helped Mendocino to a 3-0 start in conference play.  In three games Garza was 7 for 11 (.636) with 8 runs scored, 3 RBI, a Home Run and 2 BB.  In addition, he played a solid centerfield and contributed to the team. 

Garza is the first Eagle to earn CCCBCA Player of the Week honors. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brandon Facha - Butte College

Butte College RHP Brandon Facha has been named the the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association’s (CCCBCA) baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of February 23rd –March 1st, it was announced on Tuesday.

Facha threw a complete game 1 hitter on February 28th allowing 1 walk and striking out 2. The 6’1 195lb sophomore from Mission high school lowered his ERA to 1.44 with the win.

Brandon is the first Roadrunner to earn CCCBCA Pitcher of the Week honors.
