Brendan Comerford, the freshman infielder from Ohlone, had a monster week in the four games for Ohlone this week. On Tuesday, he went one for three with an RBI, in the first game of a doubleheader on Thursday he came off the bench and hit a walk-off three run home run, in the second game Thursday he went two for five with a home run and three RBI's, and on Friday he went four for six with another home run and three RBI's. This is his first Nor Cal player of the week award of the year.

Herman Luna, the sophomore right hander from Fresno City is this week's Nor Cal pitcher of the week. Luna came out of the pen in the second inning on Tuesday and finished the game for Fresno City. He threw seven and a third of shutout ball, allowing just four hits, no walks, and struck out 11 in helping secure a 6-3 victory over Hartnell.
