PLAYER OF THE WEEK:

Adrian Gonzalez - Glendale College

Adrian Gonzalez led Glendale to a 3-game sweep of conference rival LAVC.  Trailing 5-1 in the 6th inning on Thursday, the Vaquero offense had sputtered to only 2 hits until Gonzalez slugged a key 2-run home run to get the GCC back in the game.  The lefthand-hitting outfielder hit his second homer of the game in the top of the 10th inning to cap the comeback.  Gonzalez is currently hitting .434 with 37 RBI, 32 Runs Scored.  Glendale is riding a 21-game winning and remains undefeated in Western State South conference play.
