In only his sixth season in charge of the Pasadena City College baseball program, Pat McGee hit milestone career victory No. 100 as Lancers head coach on Friday. Pasadena rallied with six runs in the eighth inning to erase a 5-1 deficit and defeat host College of the Desert, 9-5.
McGee, who directed the Lancers to South Coast Conference titles in 2017 and in 2019, also has sent his squads to the SoCal Regional Playoffs each of the last three seasons. In that 3-year span, McGee coached 74 victories, nearly 25 a season. The program has produced numerous "firsts" in PCC baseball history, as well as breaking several individual and team records.
